What will you do today for your physical health?

Take some time today and make sure you are engaging in some sort of physical activity. Even if it is just for 15 minutes.

You can do many things:

1) Walk at lunch time
2) Stretch if you sit a lot at work
3) Take the stairs instead of the elevator
4) Play tennis
5) Go for a swim
6) Play ball with me
7) Take the kids for a walk after dinner

So many little things can be done!

Exercise is very important for your mind, body and soul!

Did you know that less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day; only one in three adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week.

More than 80% of adults do not meet the guidelines for both aerobic and muscle-strengthening activities, and more than 80% of adolescents do not do enough aerobic physical activity to meet the guidelines for youth.

Children now spend more than seven and a half hours a day in front of a screen (e.g., TV, video-games, computer).

These statics are sad and make me worry about humans. Thankfully my humans take great care of themselves...because if they got sick...who would feed me?!

Remember to take some time to run, romp and play today!
