After all, if it were not true about consciousness you wouldn't be attempting to change your health right now! Below is a meditation exercise to help you de-stress your body and re-energize your mind. Practice this faithfully and see how much better you feel!

Sit with your feet flat on the floor with your hands facing up on your lap.
Now, close your eyes and begin counting from 7 to 1 slowly. With each number, you breathe in deeply. As you count, you become more relaxed.
Clear your head of all negative thoughts and just focus on breathing deep. Let yourself think of a beautiful place and be captivated by the surroundings around you. Try starting with 5 minutes per day and see if you can get to 15 minutes.
Slowly leave the vision and come back to your present state. Slowly count from 1 to 7. With each number, you are slowly coming out of your meditative state.
Open your eyes. Take a deep breath and notice how different you feel.
This is just one suggestion to help you become more aware of your thoughts and how they affect your health. Reading literature related to self-help can also be beneficial.
