Change can come in many forms in our lives. It might come forcefully like a tsunami, or creep along quietly like a tiny little snail.
It might come in the form of a devastating tragedy, a difficult choice, a broken relationship, or even a new job opportunity.
Even though change is difficult, many times it can also be enlightening and for the best.
Accomplishing anything great in life requires significant changes that push us beyond our little safe place.
Changes can make our comfort zone feel like it's being poked by a big, sharp stick.
Many times, the only way to improve our lives is to force ourselves to undergo a difficult change.
That might mean breaking up with someone. Even though they are familiar and "safe" it could be that the relationship has been stale for quite some time.
It might mean leaving a mediocre, but stable job. It could mean moving away from a nice, but unexciting and uninspiring location.
It could be ANYTHING that’s holding us back from accomplishing our dreams and hindering us to become the best possible version of ourselves.
Of course, dealing with uninvited change in our lives is often difficult and painful and most of us are unprepared for that type of situation.
But, just know, whatever changes you’re dealing with, HOW you choose to cope with those changes will have a huge impact on your future.
Change can be good. Change can be difficult, but it can also be very beautiful and enlightening.
And remember—if there were no changes, there would be no butterflies!
