Why is it that no matter how hard you try you struggle to obtain the healthy body you set out to achieve? What happens shortly after you begin? You get discouraged and quit. The problem isn't only you, it's your programming. And you are subconsciously programmed without you really being aware of it.
You may think you are making your own decisions, but that is not entirely true. Don't believe it? Read the following statements and see if you can recognize the companies and/or products they are selling:

If you're like every American you are subjected to these subliminal messages everywhere you look, you are bombarded by messages from so many large companies to get you to buy their products. The #1 truth is, our food is killing us! Slowly and painfully perhaps, but it is.
We at Integrity are still searching for a jingle that excites the senses of people so they will choose healthier foods and exercise just a few hours a week. A jingle that would empower people to listen to reason and spare themselves years of pain and suffering. A way of utilizing Pavlov's Dog's theory of Classic Conditioning. We just haven't found one yet!
Yes a form of brain washing has gotten many to believe that purchasing a product or some sort of material possession or consumable item will make a person happy. After all, look at all those happy people in those TV ads touting diabetes medications or fast food.
Happiness comes from within. Happiness is being grateful for who you are and what you have, not what TV (big corporations) think you need. There is a small wooden sign in my house with an old Irish saying. It reads; "May you live as long as you want and never want as long as you live". No truer words were ever written.
If just 30 percent of our population took better care of themselves health care wouldn't cost much at all. Besides, our health care problem isn't so much "medical" as it is a consequence of poor food and lack of activity. These conditions are not the specialty of most doctors. Their remedy is most likely a blood pressure med, along with a statin, and maybe an anti-depressant so you don't feel too bad about yourself.
I (Rocco Boulay) wrote a letter to President Trump outlining a scalable way to keep Americans healthy and our plan would cost about a dollar a day. We never got a response. We understand why because health care makes up about 28% of our GDP (gross domestic product. see chart below) and hundreds of healthcare lobbyists are schmoozing your elected politicians daily to keep healthcare spending in their favor.
So if you don't mind giving .28 cents of every one of your hard earned dollars to healthcare that's your prerogative. Take control of your health and your money. The media will never admit this because big businesses support their networks via advertising. This clip was surprisingly of Fox News with Steve Hilton.

After viewing these documentaries you may never want to eat again. But that isn't realistic. With all these challenges, fighting the battle of proper nutrition is paramount. At Integrity we can help you make the better choices amongst the plethora of food.
This has got to be the second most difficult challenge. Every "expert" has their program and/or advice yet nothing seems to work. Without incorporating healthy foods into your lifestyle getting healthy doesn't work, period. But what exactly is the right kind of exercise?
Many doctors tell their patients to walk. This is utter nonsense. This form of "exercise" is touted either because the doctor doesn't know much about exercise or he knows this type of exercise will keep you coming back for office visits time and again.
Running is another exercise that is not effective for most. Many people are looking to lose excess body fat. Can you imagine the amount of force that is placed on the joints of those who are already overweight. Chances are they will suffer an injury long before attaining their desired weight loss and fitness goal.
Yoga would be considered somewhat effective by not by itself. Some Yoga positions can be very challenging and embarrassing for beginners. Yoga is not effective for weight loss but establishing a mind / body connection is one of the positive attributes of this exercise.
You will rarely hear a doctor tell you to weight train. Some orthopedics may tell you to weight train while you are rehabbing an injury but after that not typically. Why? Because weight training is the most effective exercise for keeping bones and joints strong. It is also the type of exercise that elevates all the "anabolic", tissue building hormones that were in copious amount as you went through puberty. This is the exercise we consider the fountain of youth.
Weight training also incorporates what is known as "fast twitch" muscle. People with healthy levels of fast twitch muscle also look the leanest and are stronger than those with lesser amounts. These muscle fibers are also called type IIB or "fast glycolytic" which means they use sugar as their primary fuel source.
Let us pose a question. If you gained weight and your blood glucose (sugar) is high, what kind of exercise do you think would decrease the amount of sugar in the blood? Type IIB (Weight Training) that utilizes glucose (sugar) as it's energy source or Type I (Walking) that uses oxygen? I believe the choice is obvious. No wonder why people can't lose weight walking. It doesn't do much to remedy the problem.
Weight training however may be the most effective exercise to increase metabolism and to reverse type II diabetes. The more fast twitch muscle you have the greater your metabolism and more sugar is needed to fuel the exercise. It is that simple! There are other scientific factors but we won't discuss them here.
